Noodle

So here is the newest edition to our family. I have a terrible addiction to puppies, Lets just say she is #4 puppy in the last 2 years that I have gotten. We have our beagle still who is a great dog, but I wanted an inside one and I'm allergic to them so, I finally found one I can have we named her noodle, and she is a Llasa Poo. She will only get to be about 12# so she will stay small, thank goodness. She is so stinky cute and of course the kids love her. Lucy can't focus on anything all day but the dog. Talmadge gets frustrated she follows him around bitting and playing with his ears.....if he would just walk he wouldn't have that problem :)
Sometimes I think what was I thinking it really is like having another child around. But she is a keeper this time, even Scott really likes her for being a tiny dog......you know how that goes most guys like big dogs.............. I love her.

Oh Christmas Tree.....Oh Christmas Tree

We had alot of fun this year decorating the Christmas trees.......yes that was trees, I'm not sure what I was thinking with Lucy, Zoie and Talmadge the constant grabbing, pulling, and breaking never seems to stop. I thought it would be a great idea to do my pretty tree upstairs (I always wanted a "pretty" tree) Then we would do the fun one downstairs and let the kids have there way with it. Well good idea until we realized A-I'm not always downstairs to monitor whats taking place and B-I can't escape the constant "no don't touch the tree" and having to physically remove Talmade all the time. Where ever we go he has to have the tree.
So far between my kids namely Talmadge, and some cousins only 6 bulbs have been broken so far, the bottom of the tree is really bare now.

Scott's beautiful bow tieing skills at making the tree topper, the tree was too big it wouldn't fit my angel so we had to emprovise, it didn't turn out to bad. We decided to go with black and silver ornaments with a touch of red, it was so pretty and it took 1300 lights, I kept having to go back to Ace Hardware and buy more while Scott was stringing them on. We had a great time doing the trees and getting Christmas set up around our house, it's so exciting the girls are old enough to be really excited and helpful.

I love Christmas and the smell of pine in my house.

Happy Late Birthday Zoie

So for those of you who thought I forgot this firecrackers birthday I did not. I have been so busy and just haven't gotten around to posting her pictures and her birthday fun.
Here she is in all her glory this girl threw up so much as a baby, I thought something was wrong with her, this is how she looked most of the time as a baby due to the projectile throwups.

Nope nothing has changed from this picture, this girl came out kicking and screaming and is still the very same today. She lets you know when she is happy and or mad, and has no problem letting you know these things. She is so funny and has such a great vocabulary it's hilarious to listen to her talk and the dialect she uses with her sister.
These two are best friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. The fighting sometimes triumphs the love but all in all they really are each others very best friends.

We are so glad that Zoie is part of our home, we have been blessed with such a sweet spirit and I'm so greatful to Heavely Father who has intrusted her to my care. I learn so much from her and she shows me such unconditional love, I want to be a better mother for my children so they can grow and learn to be charitable and more Christ like. Children truley are special spirits of our Father in Heaven. I love my kids!!!!!!!
Happy #3 Birthday Zoie

Grandma this is for you

Talmadge got lots of fun toys but I think his most favorite was the huge play set he got from Grandma Lashmett. Not to mention the girls and of course my biggest kid of them all dad. It takes up our whole basement play room, and I have just left it up. All the cousins come over and they have a blast downstairs in the "fort". Talmadge loves hiding and crawling as fast as he can through the tunnels trying not to be caught by the monsters.......Thanks Grandma and Grandpa we love it.

Birthday Cake Time

Wow I'm really behind the ball this last week. It has been busy 2 birthdays, a new puppy and lots of entertaining and Christmas shopping. Here are some pictures of my baby who refused to get down and dirty with the oversized birthday cupcake. It could be a result of him still not feeling well with his ear infections, we still had a great time.

I can't believe it's been a year already

Oh my sweet little boy! Happy 1 year birthday. It just doesn't even seem like it has been a year already. You are such a joy to our family. As you have neared 1 we have seen the boy in you come out more and more. Your sisters and mom and dad didn't teach you that cars drive, make noise, and crash yet you seem to do all those things with them. It's definately a change for us from foofy to loud and aggressive, we love it.

Already getting beat up and scratches all over you, although your sisters play a big part in that. You were so tiny and sweet I remember bringing you home and being so scared you were so little and had to have the glow worm light on you for 8 days because of jaundice. That was no fun, I couldn't snuggle up as close with you with the machine on luckily you were a sweet and quiet baby that didn't require a whole lot.

You are close to walking but not quite ready, you have learned to hit your sisters and fight back when you know you are taking a beating. You have learned to voice your opinion and know how to get us to respond to you. You crawl up and down the stairs all day long and think you are so big.
Your so quiet, and have a very serious side to you. It's very hard to get you to laugh but you love to smile. Your eyes light up and you can even raise your right eye brow, it drives your dad crazy. You get so excited to see your dad when he gets home and you crawl super fast with your head down and barrell right into him, you are definately all boy and we are so glad you are a part of our family. I love you.

More doctor visits

Sorry my blog lately has consisted of bad sick posts, but hey it's that time of year. Last night we took Lucy to the ER she has some weird rash all over her face. Come to find out it's called the fifth disease, commonly known as the "slapped cheek syndrome". My kids have crazy things that they come down with. It is highly contaigious and there is no cure, it could last up to 5 weeks, it's kinda cute in a sick way she has big chubby cheeks and now they are bright red. This morning Talmadge as a patch of red on his cheek so we will see. Scott and Zoie went to the Doctor today they still aren't feeling better. Come to find out they both has strep throat, and Scott on top of that has a sinus infection and another virus she isn't sure about that is causing him to have severe hot and cold sweats. Awesome huh. I agree with some of you I think Heavenly Father watches out for mothers so they can take care of the family when everyone is ill. Keep your fingers crossed Lucy and Talmadge don't end up with strep, or myself for that matter. With Thanksgiving coming I'm so greatful for my family and for health and strength. I find in times of sickness I really am greatful for good health most of the time.

When it rains it pours

Well my poor family after the doctors appt. we went to Costco to get Talmadge's antibiotics. Zoie had the urge to throw up right in the entrance of Costco. Nice huh, she said look mommy they are cleaning it for me. With children you just can't have too many embarrassing moments. That same night Lucy was up at 11pm throwing up all over as well and it continued on throughout the night. At about 5am Scott was up hanging on to the porcelain throne as well, what a night. Everyone is still a little under the weather, meaning extremely cranky, and high temperatures. 24 hours of antibiotics and I have a different baby at my house, poor guy. Thank goodness mom has stayed healthily throughout it all to make sure the house hold is taken care of. Hopefully I won't get a turn.

Sick Baby

And so it begins. Just when you get the doctor bill payed off from last winter, in time to rack that one back up. Poor Talmadge well all my kids they have been doomed with ear infections forrrreeevvvveeeerrrrr. We just got back from the Doctors today to find out he has a double ear infection with his left ear on the verge of bursting, Lucy has a sore throat, and Zoie is saying her ear hurts. Unfortunately my baby gets sick and it goes straight to his lungs he has the cursed asthma. This is him being pinned down to enhale his medicne on his machine for 3-5 minutes. When we are through he is ticked off and his nose is bright red from keeping the mask on. I hate winters here in Oregon. It seems we are always sick and we seem to catch it all. Poor me Huh, that sounds pathetic I'm sure all you mothers out there have to endure the same thing all winter longa s well.

Strawberry Shortcake

This is a really cute quiz, try it. I tried guessing on Scott and chose wrong (Chocolate cake with chocolate icing), he picked ice cream and it doesn't really go with his personality ........guess I'm still working on trying to figure him out. :)

If all of the eight desserts listed below were sitting in front of you, which would you choose sorry, you can only pick one! Here are your choices:

1. Angel Food Cake
2. Brownies
3. Lemon Meringue Pie
4. Vanilla Cake with Chocolate Icing
5. Strawberry Short Cake
6. Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Icing
7. Ice Cream
8. Carrot Cake

Now that you have made your choice, this is what the researchers say about you...

1. ANGEL FOOD CAKE -- Sweet, loving, cuddly. You love all warm and fuzzy items. A little nutty at times. Sometimes you need an ice cream cone at the end of the day. Others perceive you as being childlike and immature at times.

2. BROWNIES -- You are adventurous, love new ideas, and are a champion of underdogs and a slayer of dragons. When tempers flare up you whip out your saber. You are always the oddball with a unique sense of humor and direction. You tend to be very loyal.

3. LEMON MERINGUE -- Smooth, sexy, and articulate with your hands, you are an excellent after-dinner speaker and a good teacher. However, do not try to walk and chew gum at the same time. A bit of a diva at times, but you have many friends.

4. VANILLA CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING -- Fun-loving, sassy, humorous, not very grounded in life; very indecisive and lacking motivation. Everyone enjoys being around you, but you are a practical joker. Others should be cautious in making you mad. However, you are a friend for l life.

5. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE -- Romantic, warm, and loving. You care about other people, can be counted on in a pinch, and expect the same in return. Intuitively keen. Can be very emotional.

6. CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING -- Sexy; always ready to give and receive. Very creative, adventurous, ambitious, and passionate. You can appear to have a cold exterior but are warm on the inside. Not afraid to take chances. W ill not settle for anything average in life. Love to laugh.

7. ICE CREAM -- You like sports, whether it be baseball, football, basketball or soccer. If you could, you would like to participate, but you enjoy watching sports. You do not like to give up the remote c control. You tend to be self-centered and high maintenance.

8. CARROT CAKE -- You are a very fun loving person who likes to laugh. You are fun to be with. People like to hang out with you. You are a very warm -hearted person and a little quirky at times. You have many loyal friends

Little Late----Halloween

Well as you can tell Lucy was a tiger girl, Zoie was and "evil" witch that evil part had to be in the description as far as she was concerned, and Talmadge according to Zoie was a Cheeto. He was really a little tiger but he looked big and orange like a cheeto. We had a good time we went to the chuch and did the trunk or treat and ended up with way too much candy. It's always a good time to do that. The kids also got to dress up for Lucy's school and that same day Zoie was able to dress up for her dance class, Halloween what a weird Holiday it is anyway. Who came up with the idea of dressing up and going out to get candy???????

1. You’ve always wished for it, and your wish has come true: There’s now a twenty-fifth hour in the day, but you have to spend it the same way every day on something you don’t have enough time for now, and it can’t be for sleep. How will you spend this extra hour every day? I would scrap...or sit and read a really good mystery book.

2. As if that weren’t enough, an extra day has been added to the calendar, and you can insert it anywhere you want, except the day immediately before or after a holiday, and you have to spend it the same way every year. How will you spend this extra day each year, and when on the calendar will it appear? It would appear either on a Friday or Monday and it would be a third day of a weekend. Scott and I would go with no kids just the two of us. There are never enough reasons to get a sitter and go out with my hubby.

Someone is giving you an extra twenty dollars per week (or its equivalent, if your country uses a different monetary unit) to spend any way you want, but you have to spend it the same way every week, and it has to be on yourself (no charity or gift-giving, and no investing or saving!). How will you spend this extra twenty dollars per week? It would be a toss up but fresh flowers for my table would be in there, I love the fresh arrangements, or of course a pedicure. I'm sure many of you would like a weekly toe, and foot massage. Let's not forget you probably deserve that anyway:)

4. Wow! When you woke up this morning, you noticed that someone snuck in and added a new room to your living space! The room is for your exclusive use, and it can serve only one FUN function (and it can’t be used as a bedroom or storage). What fun activity will be reserved for this new room? A work out room, loud booming stereo system, T.V. and lot's of machines and free weights. Getting to the gym it too much money for day care, and 5am is just too early for me.

5. A magic backpack appears at your doorstep. It will hold any one thing you can normally carry by yourself, it will render that item weightless, and it will collapse to the size of a small pack of gum. What will you carry in it? I would have to agree with Mandi on this my camera, I have a rad camera but it's huge to cart around everywhere, so it only get's used on special occasions, and at the house. No random shots.

Naked Babies

I love these days where they all get in the bath together and the big sisters just help scrub and clean the baby. They definitely notice and talk about Talmadge's wiener, a comment commenly said in our house is "Mom we don't talk about wieners do we", it's so different from there "Bajinas" that it seems they are always making comments regarding it. That soon will pass I hope or the baths will become same sex only. It's just cute to have naked babies all toghther in one bath photo.

Yikes, I hate these things...............

Ok, is it the season for these critters or what, they are out in full force. This happy little (actually really big) fella was found in the girls bedroom closet. We were just getting ready to leave for the day and Zoie needed a jacket. I went into the closet and openend the door and out of the corner of my eye was this monster of a spider. Naturally I freaked out and got the girls to come inspect it with me. Normally I would have gotten some toilet paper and smashed it together and flushed it down the toilet. NO WAY!!!! First off it by the time I would have gotten it into toilet paper that was big enough to grab it, it would have flooded the toilet. It was the size of my palm no joke. I have never seen a spider that big, let alone in my house, in the closet of my sweet little girls room. So my next approach was the vaccuum I plugged it in turned it on and got the extension hose close to it, there was no way that spider was going into the vaccuum. It was huge and I thought for sure it would climb out of there once it was sucked up. Also I had a fear it was so big it would be to strong for even the suction of the vaccuum to get it off the wall. The things my mind was conjuring up. So that didn't work either. I called Scott and had him come home after a meeting at work to kill it. I couldn't do it on my own I was freaked out. No I'm not normally a chicken, but you put an eight legged freak the size of my hand in front of me I'm runnin. Scott caught it and we tried to feed it flies and bugs but it died anyway. Thank goodness it's gone. We had a good time looking at it and watching the scary thing. The pictures don't do it justice.................Spooky

So I thought I was being extremely smart and staying ahead of the game, I had down loaded a ton of pictures with different titles and I saved them as drafts. Well when I went to add them to my blog when I wanted to it put them down under the date I originally created them, instead of being the first post on the Blog. So any of you blogging champs if you know how to make it so they come first on the top instead of in the middle when the original date was help me out. I'm so computer retarded, I'm surprised I can even download pictures, with out any major complications.

While you were sleeping

Dad woke up to an interesting new attire. The girls were so gentle and quiet he didn't even budge the whole time. The couldn't leave the helpless baby out of all the fun so he got plastered with stickers too. They have so much fun being silly

Hard being a baby

I love when they play so hard they crash in the middle of it all.

Sexy Huh.......

Nice.....for those of you who don't know this is my older brother, isn't he hot. Ha-Ha he is a real comic. We were hosting a birthday party at our house, and Scott and I went to Goodwill and bought a bunch of dress up stuff for the kids. This was what Marsh came out in. No this is not his real hair although the color matches and it looked so nice with his facial hair. We had a good laugh. It's always nice to have goofballs around to poke fun of. He is very quiet and usually the one making fun of others so rolls changed. He will love that this was on the internet :0)
